Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX 50 AE 6" Threaded Pistol

This is the suppressor host version of the hand cannon. The Mark XIX Desert Eagle in 50 AE gets a 6 inch carbon steel barrel threaded 49/64-20 at the muzzle, and Magnum Research includes the L5 piston that the gun needs to cycle correctly once a can is hanging off the front. That piston is the part people forget about; without it a suppressed Desert Eagle short strokes, and with it the gun runs the way it does bare muzzled.

The Desert Eagle has always been an odd machine in the best way. It is gas operated with a rotating bolt, which is rifle plumbing inside a pistol, and it is why a 50 AE is shootable at all in a handgun. The all steel construction puts serious mass between the shooter and the cartridge. Add a suppressor and the mass grows again, which flattens the muzzle rise even further. The frame wears a beavertail and the slide is serrated for a firm grip during manipulation. Nothing about this pistol is subtle, and nobody buys one because it is practical. It is a big bore range gun with a following, and the threaded barrel version is the one people actually want.
