Luth-AR 308 A2 Flash Hider 5/8-24

The A2 birdcage is still the default muzzle device on an AR for a reason. The closed bottom keeps the ports from blasting dust off the ground when you shoot prone, and the remaining slots break up muzzle flash well enough to keep a shooter's night vision intact. Luth-AR builds this one with 5/8-24 threads for 308 and 7.62 pattern rifles.

It threads on with a crush washer or a peel washer and needs no timing beyond snugging it down against the shoulder. On a 308 AR the flash signature is larger than it is on a 5.56 carbine, so a working flash hider earns its place. Simple, proven, and it does the one job it was built for.
