Guntec USA 308 Mini Slip Over Barrel Shroud 5/8-24 Muzzle Brake

This is the large frame version of Guntec's slip over shroud, cut for 5/8-24 muzzle threads on an AR pattern 308. The rear of the unit slides back over the barrel while the front is a multi port brake, so a stubby 308 upper gets a fuller profile and a noticeable drop in muzzle rise from the same part.

The ports are arranged in a ring around the bore rather than aimed only to the sides, which spreads the gas and keeps the gun flat. It runs 2.375 inches long, covers 1.375 inches of barrel and weighs 2.9 ounces, machined from aluminum with a black anodized finish. It does not need to be timed — hand tighten it down to the shoulder and you are finished. Remember that a slip over shroud covers barrel, it does not add barrel length.
