Guntec USA AR-308 Slip Over Barrel Shroud with Multi Port Muzzle Brake

Two parts in one piece of aluminum. The tube slips over the last few inches of barrel to clean up the look of a short handguard, and the business end is a multi port brake with venting all the way around. Guntec rates the felt recoil reduction at up to 70 percent.

It threads on from the inside and does not need to be timed, so hand tight is enough and there is no crush washer to fight. Overall length is 5.5" with 4" of that riding over the barrel, so a handguard ending closer than 4" to the muzzle needs at least a 1.2" inside diameter for clearance.
