Kriss USA DMK22C 22 LR 16.5" 25rd Rifle

Kriss built the DMK22C so that 22 LR practice actually transfers to an AR-15. The controls, the grip, the stock and the handguard all come from the AR world, and a patented bolt lock holds the action open when the magazine runs dry, so the reload you rehearse here is the same reload you run on a centerfire carbine. The 16.5" barrel is threaded at the muzzle and sits in a patented adapter that accepts aftermarket 10/22 barrels, which turns a barrel swap into a bolt on change instead of a gunsmithing job.

The magazine holds 25 rounds, and 22 LR being what it is, a long range session costs a fraction of what the same round count would in 5.56. The handguard is M-LOK so lights and hand stops go where you want them, and the stock adjusts for length. Nearly every AR-15 upgrade fits, from triggers to grips to optic mounts, so the rifle grows with whatever you are training toward. For a newer shooter, mild recoil and light weight matter more than anything on a spec sheet, and this hands them a rifle that runs like the real thing without the noise and the punch.
