Kimber DS Warrior Boot Campaign 9mm 5" 20rd Pistol

The DS Warrior is Kimber's double stack 1911 on a steel frame, and the Boot Campaign edition names the cause it supports right on the gun. The slide carries 'Boot Campaign' and 'Honor and Restore The Lives of Veterans' cut into the metal. Everything behind the engraving is standard DS Warrior: a 5 inch deep crown barrel, a match grade trigger, an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and an accessory rail on the dust cover for a light or a laser.

The slide is cut for an optic and comes with a TAG cover plate over the pocket, so the pistol runs irons out of the box or takes a red dot without a trip to a machinist. Sights are a night sight up front against a fixed rear. The magazine holds 20 rounds of 9mm, which is the whole argument for a double stack 1911, and the wider grip spreads recoil across more of the hand than a slim frame does. Slide serrations give a positive purchase for press checks, and the 1911 trigger geometry is still the straight back press that made the platform's reputation. It is a full size gun with modern capacity and a modern optic footprint on a frame that has been proven for a century.
