Kimber CDS9 9mm 3.64" 13/15rd Two-Tone Threaded Pistol

Kimber's CDS9, short for Covert Double Stack 9mm, takes the 1911 style single action trigger and puts a double stack magazine behind it in a carry sized gun. It borrows from the Micro 1911 and the KDS9c and adds fully ambidextrous controls and a reversible magazine release. This version has a 3.64" threaded barrel with 1/2-28 threads for a suppressor or muzzle device. It comes with two magazines, one 13 round and one 15 round.

The stainless steel slide is cut for RMSc pattern optics, so a micro red dot mounts directly, and it has front and rear serrations and an external extractor. The aluminum frame carries an accessory rail for a light or laser and frag pattern checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. Grip panels are VZ Frag G10 in orange, and the finish is KimPro II in a gray and black two tone. A TAG FiberLok fiber optic front sight gives a bright aiming point, and a stacked recoil spring assembly is rated for up to 10,000 rounds. Empty weight is 20.8 oz, light for a double stack metal frame gun, which is what makes it a real everyday carry option.
