Kel-Tec KP50 5.7x28mm 9.6" 50rd Brace Pistol

The KP50 is what happens when Kel-Tec turns a magazine problem into the whole design. Two 50rd magazines feed the gun, and the Jungle Clip system joins them side by side so 100 rounds of 5.7x28mm ride on board at once. This updated version loads from the bottom, which fixed the awkward loading procedure that defined the original P50 and is the main reason to look at the KP50 over the gun it replaced.

The 9.6" barrel is threaded 1/2-28, and 5.7x28mm is one of the better suppressor candidates around once the muzzle blast of a short unsuppressed barrel gets addressed. A side folding brace comes installed, and the whole gun weighs about 4 pounds empty, which is light considering how much ammunition it carries. A B5 Systems grip handles the shooting hand, the construction is fully machined, and a top rail runs the length of the receiver for a red dot or an offset light. The cartridge itself is flat shooting with very little recoil, so follow up shots come quickly and newer shooters are not fighting the gun between rounds. Folded, it takes up about as much room as a large handgun case.
