Horizon Firearms Vandal Prime 22 Creedmoor 18" Rifle

The Horizon Firearms Vandal Prime is a bolt action rifle set up for long range work in the field as well as at the range. This version is chambered in 22 Creedmoor with an 18" stainless steel barrel. The barrel carries banded spiral fluting to shed weight, and it is threaded and fitted with an Iota SIM muzzle brake to tame recoil so you can watch your own hits through the scope.

The action is a Horizon Stiller, set in a texture painted Iota EKO carbon fiber stock that gives a solid, stable rest for prone or bench shooting. A TriggerTech trigger provides a clean, predictable break, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. At about 7.4 lbs bare, the Vandal Prime is light enough to carry on a hunt but has enough heft to stay steady behind a heavy 22 caliber bullet. The 18 inch barrel keeps the overall package short for hunting from a blind or a vehicle, and 22 Creedmoor gives coyote and deer hunters plenty of reach with very little recoil.
