Heckler & Koch HK45 Compact V7 45 ACP 3.94" 8rd Pistol

The HK45 Compact is shorter and lower than the full size HK45 and has a slim line grip, but otherwise it has almost the same features. Like the HK45, it was built as a candidate for the US military Joint Combat Pistol program. The 3.94" barrel uses HK's proprietary O-ring for precise barrel to slide lockup, and the pistol handles everything from standard 45 ACP ball through +P. It holds 8 rounds, and two 8 round magazines come with it, plus an extra backstrap for grip fit. The pistol can also use 10 round magazines, including the full size HK45 mags.

This is the V7 variant with HK's LEM trigger. It is double action only and gives the same pull weight on every shot. Dual slide releases make the controls ambidextrous, and the frame has a Picatinny rail. The grip panels can be replaced. For anyone who wants a carry size 45 with a simple, repeatable trigger, it is a strong pick.
