Hi-Point Hush Point 45/9 45 Cal Direct Thread Suppressor

Hi-Point built the Hush Point 45/9 as a one can answer for a safe full of threaded pistols. It is rated for pistol calibers from 9mm up through 45 Auto, and two host caps come in the box, 1/2-28 and .578-28, so it threads directly onto most threaded pistol and pistol caliber carbine barrels with no separate muzzle device involved.

The layout is a symmetrical four piece design: an aluminum body, a monolithic aluminum baffle core, an aluminum muzzle cap, and a stainless steel host cap where the threads take the beating. The exterior is hard anodized. It measures 7.87 inches long and weighs 12.8 oz, so it adds length without piling weight onto a carbine or a large frame pistol. The monocore pulls out for cleaning, which a 45 will eventually need. Hi-Point does not rate this one for full auto fire.
