About the EOTech DCBL 9mm Direct
The DCBL 9PCC is built for pistol caliber carbines, where high volume shooting and a straight blowback action put more gas in the shooter's face than almost anything else. EOTech's vent forward, flow through architecture bleeds pressure forward rather than back through the action, which cuts blowback and keeps the gun cleaner over a long session.
The body is monolithic printed titanium with a Cerakote finish, kept short and slim at 7.3 inches with the hub and flash hider fitted and 1.6 inches in diameter. Mounting is direct thread. It is not rated for full auto fire, and EOTech lists a 10.3 inch minimum barrel length that applies only when rifle cartridges are being run through it. On a 9mm carbine, barrel length is not a limitation.
