Heritage 92 44 Mag 18" 8rd Stainless Rifle

The Heritage 92 is a classic pattern lever action rifle in 44 Mag, built in the mold of the 1892 rifles that rode in saddle scabbards across the West. This one pairs an 18" round barrel with an 8 round tube magazine, and the barrel and receiver are polished stainless steel, which shrugs off rain and sweat better than blued steel. The straight grip hardwood stock gives it the traditional look and handles quickly.

Sights are a drift adjustable front and an adjustable buckhorn rear, the kind of setup that works fast on deer and hogs in thick cover. A thumb safety is fitted, and the exposed hammer can be eased down by hand. The 44 Mag gives a carbine like this real authority on medium game at woods ranges and is just as much fun to shoot at steel. It is a handsome rifle for the cowboy action shooter, the collector who likes the 92 pattern, or a hunter who wants something classic.
