Henry Single Shot Brass 12 GA 28" Shotgun

Henry's Single Shot shotgun uses the same break top action as the Henry Single Shot rifle. It has a rebounding external hammer and a locking lever that pivots either way, and the hammer cannot reach the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. An interlock keeps the action from being opened or closed with the hammer cocked. The result is a very simple gun to learn on and a very hard one to misuse.

This is the brass version: a polished, hardened brass receiver with a round blued 28 inch barrel and a brass bead front sight. The 12 gauge chamber takes shells up to 3.5 inches. The barrel is threaded for Rem Choke style tubes and a Modified choke comes with the gun. American walnut furniture finishes it off. One shell at a time keeps a new shooter focused, and for an experienced hunter it is a light, quick gun to carry on a walk through the woods or the fields. It is also simply a nice looking piece of walnut and brass.
