Guntec USA TANK AR-15 5.56 Multi Port Compensator

Guntec's Gen 2 TANK compensator is cut from steel rather than aluminum, which is what you want in front of a 5.56 muzzle if you shoot any volume. Three side slots and two top ports vent gas up and out to hold the muzzle down between shots and keep the sight picture where you left it.

It threads onto any 1/2-28 barrel and a crush washer comes in the package for timing the ports upright. At roughly 2.5 inches and 4.7 ounces it adds a little length without much weight, and the hex flats give a wrench something to grab. Expect the trade every brake makes: flatter recoil for you, more blast for whoever is standing beside you.
