Great Lakes Firearms GL15 223 Wylde 16" 10rd Bronze Titanium CA Compliant Rifle

The bronze GL15 is the same rifle as the rest of the family in a warmer finish. Start with the barrel, because it sets the character of the gun: a 16" stainless heavy profile cut for 223 Wylde, a chamber that splits the difference between the tight 223 Remington match spec and the longer 5.56 NATO throat. The rifle fires either round safely and gives up nothing in accuracy running them, which is why 223 Wylde has quietly become the default on any AR built for precision instead of volume.

The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 with a brake installed. Ahead of the receiver sits 15.25" of aluminum handguard with a full Picatinny rail, so a light, a laser, a bipod or a hand stop all mount without adapters and the support hand can sit anywhere along the tube. Gas is carbine length, the receivers are aluminum, and the feed ramps are cut to the M4 pattern. The magazine is a 10rd California compliant unit. Bronze Titanium Cerakote covers the receivers and handguard, dark enough that the rifle still reads as a working gun rather than a show piece.
