Matador Arms MAT9-K-5 9mm 5" 30rd Pistol

Matador Arms builds the MAT9 around HK MP5 magazines rather than the Glock or Colt patterns everyone else uses, which opens the door to a very deep supply of curved steel magazines. The K-5 is the short one: a 5" barrel in 9mm with an A3 brace out back and one 30rd MP5 magazine in the box. The grip and safety sit where a carbine shooter expects to find them, but the receiver internals are not a straight AR-15 copy.

A 5" barrel keeps the whole package short enough for a truck bag or a small safe, and 9mm out of a braced pistol is mild enough that new shooters do not flinch. Steel MP5 magazines have a reputation for feeding a wide range of bullet profiles, and spares are common. The finish is black throughout. Think of it as the answer to a specific question: what if an AR sized package fed from MP5 magazines? For a range toy or a compact home gun, that combination is hard to argue with.
