Glock 48 9mm 4.17" 15rd Front Rail Pistol

The Glock 48 splits a difference that used to force a choice between a compact and a single stack. The Slimline frame runs about the same length and height as a G19 but is noticeably narrower through the frame and slide, and width is the dimension that matters once a pistol is riding under a shirt. This version adds a molded accessory rail on the dust cover, so a compact light or laser mounts without an adapter, and it comes with two 15rd magazines.

The barrel is the Glock Marksman Barrel, a revised rifling profile that tightened up group sizes over the older polygonal barrels, and it measures 4.17". The slide wears an nDLC surface treatment that shrugs off sweat and holster wear, with precision milled front serrations for a positive grip on a press check. Underneath it is a Glock: a Safe Action trigger with three independent mechanical safeties, a polymer frame with hardened steel guides, and a low parts count that anyone can strip on a kitchen table. A built in beavertail keeps the web of the hand out of the slide's path, and the grip texture holds without chewing up a cover garment.
