Glock 42 380 ACP 3.25" 6rd Rainbow Pistol

The Glock 42 is the smallest pistol Glock builds, a single stack 380 ACP on a frame scaled down from everything else in the catalog. It is a pocket gun in the honest sense, thin enough to ride in a front pocket holster and light enough to forget about on a belt. A locked breech action makes it far more pleasant to shoot than the blowback pocket 380s it competes with, and the 3.25" barrel with a full length recoil system keeps muzzle flip modest for the class.

Controls are standard Glock, which means there is almost nothing to learn: a Safe Action trigger, a magazine catch, a slide stop, and no manual safety to find under stress. The magazine holds 6rd and drops free. Sights are the standard fixed set, the polymer frame carries hardened steel guides and a textured grip surface, and field stripping takes seconds. This particular gun carries a rainbow finish treatment over the black pistol, which is the only thing separating it from a standard G42. Mechanically it is the same pocket 380 that has been a carry staple since 2014.
