About this product
The GForce LVR44 Mare's Leg puts a cut down lever gun in your hands as a pistol: a 12 inch barrel, a short Turkish walnut stock and a large loop lever with a leather wrap. This Tactical version trades the wood forend for an aluminum one with M-LOK slots, so a light or a handstop has somewhere to go. It is chambered in 44 Magnum with a five round tube magazine, and the black receiver and barrel keep the look all business. Overall length is about 25.5 inches and it weighs around 4.5 pounds.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and comes with a thread protector, so a muzzle brake or a can is an easy add. Iron sights front and rear handle the shooting distances a Mare's Leg is built for. The hammer has three positions and there is a manual safety, which is welcome on a lever gun you may carry with a round chambered. The receiver is aluminum alloy and the barrel is steel. Trigger pull is around five pounds. With 44 Magnum on tap it makes a hard hitting trail or ranch gun. GForce backs it with a five year limited warranty.
