GForce Arms Jawbone Hybrid 45 ACP 5" 26rd Pistol

Same Jawbone, shorter barrel. The 5" version of GForce Arms' 45 ACP large format pistol trims a couple of inches off the front end, which shortens the whole package and pulls the balance back toward the shooter's hands. It still feeds from Glock pattern 45 ACP magazines, and one 26rd magazine comes with it, so keeping it fed means buying magazines that are already stocked everywhere.

The receiver is aluminum with a Picatinny top rail for a red dot, the barrel wears a QPQ finish and is threaded at the muzzle, and an Ace of Brace paddle brace hangs off the rear. Ambidextrous magazine release and charging handle mean left hand shooters are not fighting the gun, and the second charging handle out on the forend lets you run the bolt without breaking a firing grip. In 45 ACP the recoil impulse is a slow push rather than a snap, and at this weight the gun barely moves under it. People buy these as house guns, as range guns that eat common pistol ammunition, and as suppressor hosts, since 45 ACP is subsonic straight out of the box and needs no special load to run quiet behind a can.
