GForce Arms LVR44 Mare's Leg 44 Mag 12" 5rd Nickel Pistol

This is the classic dress version of the GForce LVR44 Mare's Leg: nickel finished metal with a Turkish walnut stock and walnut forend. It is a lever action pistol in 44 Magnum with a 12 inch barrel and a five round tube magazine, cut short in the style of the Old West saddle guns. The large loop lever has a leather wrap, so it is easy to work fast or with gloves on. It measures about 25.5 inches overall and weighs around 4.5 pounds, which keeps it handy in a truck or a saddle scabbard.

The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and wears a thread protector, a modern touch on an old design that lets you add a brake or suppressor later. Iron sights front and rear keep it simple. A three position hammer and a manual safety add some peace of mind when the gun is loaded. The receiver is aluminum alloy and the barrel is steel under the nickel finish. Trigger pull is about five pounds. Load it with 44 Magnum for real stopping power on the trail. GForce covers it with a five year limited warranty.
