Fusion Firearms XP Comp 9mm 4.6" 17rd Pistol

Fusion built the XP Comp around a 4.6 inch Clark/Para ramped bull barrel with the compensator machined into the package and pinned rather than threaded on. No barrel threads to come loose and no timing to check. Slide and frame are steel finished in Tennifer QPQ, about as hard a surface treatment as a pistol gets, and the slide is cut for an optic with a removable rear plate covering the cut.

This is the ambidextrous thumbrest edition out of the Fusion custom shop. Gas pedals sit on both sides of the frame so the support hand thumb has somewhere to push, which holds the muzzle down through recoil and shortens transitions between targets. The thumbrests are worked into the frame rather than bolted on, so 1911 grip geometry survives intact and no extra ports were cut into the slide to get there. The gun feeds from double stack Glock pattern magazines at 17 rounds, which means spares are everywhere. Novak compatible combat sights sit in the dovetails, a beavertail grip safety keeps the web of the hand off the hammer, and a Picatinny rail runs under the dust cover.
