Freedom Ordnance FX-9 9mm 8.25" 33rd Shockwave Brace Pistol

The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 brings AR-15 controls to a pistol that runs on Glock style double stack 9mm magazines. This version pairs an 8.25 inch barrel with a 7.375 inch free floating M-LOK rail and a KAK Shockwave stabilizing brace, and it comes with one 33 round magazine. The upper and lower receivers are more than an inch shorter than a standard AR-15, so the whole gun is more compact and lighter than a full size AR.

The receivers are machined from billet aluminum and hard coat anodized black. Steel wear parts, including the barrel, bolt, ejector, last round hold open, feed ramp and extractor, are nitrided to resist wear and corrosion. The FX-9 accepts AR-15 stocks and buffer tube assemblies, plus most free float AR-15 rails, so it is easy to set up the way you want. The receiver is optics ready, and the polymer grip and familiar safety and controls feel right at home to anyone who has run an AR. It works well as a range gun, a compact home defense piece or a base for a pistol caliber build.
