FN SCAR 15P 5.56 NATO 7.5" 10rd FDE Pistol

The SCAR 15P takes FN's short stroke gas piston system and packs it into an ultra compact pistol with a 7.5 inch barrel. Piston guns run cleaner and cooler than direct impingement, which matters more as barrels get shorter and gas pressure climbs, and the adjustable low flash gas regulator lets the shooter tune the system for a suppressor or for a heavy load. An SB Tactical brace sits on the back. Capacity is 10 rounds of 5.56 NATO.

At this size the SCAR 15P is about maneuverability. It comes out of a bag or a vehicle faster than any carbine, it clears corners inside a house, and the aluminum receiver keeps it light enough to hold on target one handed if the situation calls for it. MIL-STD-1913 accessory rails at four positions cover optics, lights and lasers without a proprietary mounting system in the way. The upper receiver is solid enough to grip under fire, so the shooter can lock in from any position rather than fighting a flexing handguard. The Flat Dark Earth finish is the classic SCAR look, and the platform behind it has been proven by military units that are hard on equipment.
