Daniel Defense DDM4 GL/SSC 5.56 NATO 12.5" FDE Pistol

GL/SSC stands for Grenade Launcher / Sound Suppressor Capable, and it is the rail system that gives this Daniel Defense pistol its name. The free floating RIS II is the version built to carry a suppressor or M203 mounting hardware, which means the rail geometry is set up to clear hardware that a normal handguard would run into. Underneath it sits a 12.5" cold hammer forged government profile barrel, chrome lined and phosphate coated, with a threaded muzzle.

The trigger is a Timney Axcess, so the break is better than the mil spec unit this platform usually leaves the factory with. An SBA3 brace sits on the rear, and the furniture is finished in flat dark earth against a black receiver. This one is configured as a large format pistol rather than a rifle, and no magazine is included with it, so plan on supplying your own. The pull of the GL/SSC has always been the rail: a full length, suppressor ready front end on a 12.5" gun that stays short enough to work in a truck or a hallway.
