The Dead Air Silencer Odessa-9 Direct Thread Suppressor brings a compact, modular 9mm solution to the Dead Air Armament lineup, offering a 1.1" tube that lets you retain stock sights while delivering serious sound reduction for range work, duty carry, and dedicated suppressed handgun builds. Designed for 9mm Luger but rated to handle 22LR, 22MAG and other small calibers up to 500 ft—lbs, the Odessa-9 uses 17-4 stainless steel construction with a Black Nitride finish and a 1/2-28 piston for broad pistol compatibility, including legacy pistons from Silencerco and Rugged Suppressors. You can configure the internal stack in nine different baffle setups to tailor length and performance—shorten it to just a few baffles for minimal profile or run the full stack to approach low-120 dB levels with subsonic ammo—making it ideal for hearing-safe transitions between supersonic and subsonic loads. At 8.25 inches with the piston, 7.75 inches without, and weighing 10.1 oz assembled (7.4 oz without), the Odessa-9 balances size, weight and utility for concealed carry pistols, competition rigs, and range platforms where sight clearance, modularity, and reliable 9mm suppression are required.
