Daniel Defense H9 Compact 9mm 4.28" 15rd Pistol

The Daniel H9 borrows the best parts of the 1911 without the weight or the manual of arms. The grip angle and pointability feel like a 1911, and so does the trigger: a straight pull back shoe with a safety blade instead of the hinged trigger most striker guns use. Under it is a striker fired action with a very low bore axis, which keeps muzzle flip down and makes follow up shots quicker.

The frame is aluminum with a black anodized finish, a beavertail and a Picatinny accessory rail, and it wears black G10 grip panels. The slide is serrated and cut for an optic, with a fiber optic front sight and a dovetailed rear. The 4.28 inch cold hammer forged barrel is not threaded, and the controls are ambidextrous, including a reversible magazine release. It carries 15 rounds of 9mm in a flush magazine and weighs 29.6 ounces empty. It is sized for duty or home defense and still slim enough to carry concealed if you run a good belt.
