The NULL9Ti is aimed at pistol caliber carbines, where the enemy is not just sound but the gas that comes back at the shooter. Its high flow internal architecture lets pressure move forward instead of stacking up behind the can, which cuts blowback along with the lead and combustion byproducts that ride in it. Daniel Defense reports it measuring more than 75 percent quieter than a bare muzzle under controlled testing.

At 4.4 oz it barely registers on the front of a carbine, and that number comes from a weldless titanium body printed as one continuous structure instead of assembled from parts.
