CZ Shadow 2 Compact 9mm 4" 15rd Rose Pistol

CZ shrank the Shadow 2 without giving up what makes it shoot. The compact keeps the low bore axis and the dense feel that competition shooters buy the full size gun for, then trims the barrel to 4 inches and shortens the grip to 15 rounds. This one wears a clear and rose anodized finish over silver aluminum grips, which is a long way from the usual black on black.

The barrel is cold hammer forged. Front slide serrations give a second place to grab for a press check, and the slide comes optics ready so a dot mounts without a trip to a machinist. Sights are a fiber optic front against a black checkered rear, the arrangement shooters ask for when they want the front sight to be the only thing that catches the eye. The safety controls are ambidextrous and the muzzle is standard crowned. Two magazines come with the pistol. At 30 ounces and 7.5 inches long it is still a dense little gun for its size, and that mass is exactly what keeps the sights from moving much between shots. The first pull is double action and every one after is single action.
