CVA Scout XP-SB 6mm ARC 16.5" Stainless Rifle

The CVA Scout XP-SB is a break open single shot rifle in 6mm ARC with a 16.5" barrel. One round, one shot, and a very short gun. With no bolt travel to design around, overall length stays well under a comparable bolt rifle, which makes it easy to handle in a blind, a scabbard, or a tree stand. The barrel is fluted stainless and threaded at the muzzle, so a brake or a suppressor goes on without a trip to a gunsmith. A Picatinny rail sits on the receiver, so any modern ring set mounts directly.

The XP-SB swaps the traditional Scout profile for a pistol grip and a buffer tube stock. Length of pull adjusts on the tube and a bolt on cheek riser sets comb height, so the rifle gets fitted to the shooter and to the scope instead of the other way around. 6mm ARC suits a light rifle well: it pushes heavy for caliber 6mm bullets without much recoil and works on deer and predators inside normal hunting distances. Stainless steel also handles wet weather better than blued carbon steel, which matters on a gun this easy to throw in a truck.
