About this product
The CVA Scout TD V3 is CVA's break action single shot rifle in a takedown package, and this version is chambered in 360 Buckhammer, the straight wall cartridge built for deer in states that limit hunters to straight wall rounds. It runs a 20 inch barrel, and the metal wears a bronze Cerakote finish over a camo synthetic stock, which sets it apart from the stainless and black Scout TD models.
The takedown design lets the barrel come off the receiver, so the rifle packs down short for travel or a pack. The single shot action is simple: open it, load one round, close it and shoot. A recoil pad and sling swivel studs come standard, and there are no iron sights, so plan on mounting a scope. At about 6.5 pounds it is light enough to carry all day in the deer woods.
