CVA Cascade XT 308 Win 22" 4rd Midnight Bronze Rifle

CVA built the Cascade XT for the hunter who has outgrown a basic bolt gun and has no interest in assembling a competition rifle. In 308 Win it gets a 22" medium contour Bergara barrel, fluted to drop weight, threaded at the muzzle and fitted with a radial brake that keeps the scope picture from jumping off the animal after the shot. The barrel and receiver are coated in Midnight Bronze Cerakote, which shrugs off the weather a blued rifle complains about.

The stock is synthetic and adjustable, wrapped in Mossy Oak Bottomland, so length of pull and comb height can be set for the person shooting rather than an average. An oversized bolt knob makes the action easy to work with cold hands or gloves on, which is when most bolts get fumbled. Up top there is a Picatinny rail with 20 MOA of elevation built into it, giving a scope room to dial without running out of adjustment, and the magazine holds 4 rounds of 308. It is a hunting rifle with the parts a shooter would have added anyway, already installed.
