About the Crimson Trace CT RAD
The CT RAD (Rapid Aiming Dot) is an open reflex sight sized for full frame pistols. It projects a green 5 MOA dot through a recessed, fully multi coated lens with a large window, which makes the dot easy to find as the gun comes up. It installs on optic cut slides using the CT RAD footprint, which is also compatible with the Docter footprint.
The housing is aluminum with textured sides that give you a place to grip when racking the slide, and large brightness buttons that work even with gloves on. An auto shutoff turns the sight off after 8 hours of continuous use, and the side buttons double as a manual on/off. The CR1632 battery loads from the top of the sight. The box includes the battery, mounting hardware and a sight cover.
