About the Crimson Trace CT RAD
The CT RAD Pro takes the full size CT RAD open reflex sight and adds two sensors. The CT RADIANT ambient light sensor adjusts the brightness of the green 5 MOA dot to match your surroundings, and the CT MOTION sensor turns the sight on when the gun moves and powers it down after 2 minutes without movement. An 8 hour auto shutoff and a manual on/off through the side buttons round out the controls.
It mounts to optic cut slides with the CT RAD footprint, which is also compatible with the Docter footprint, and a low profile Picatinny mount is included for putting it on a standard rail. The aluminum body has textured sides for racking the slide and large brightness buttons that work with gloves. The CR1632 battery loads from the top and is rated for about 7,000 hours. The box also includes an adjustment tool, mounting hardware and a sight cover.
