Covert Optics ThermX TRF Thermal Rangefinder

The Covert Optics ThermX TRF combines thermal imaging with laser rangefinding in a single handheld unit. Instead of carrying a separate thermal monocular and a rangefinder, the TRF puts both capabilities in one device. The thermal sensor picks up heat signatures through brush, fog, and total darkness, while the built in rangefinder gives you exact distance to target. For hunters scanning fields at dawn or glassing treelines after sunset, this combination cuts weight and simplifies your kit.

The thermal display makes locating game fast. Once you spot an animal, hit the range button without switching devices or breaking your observation. This matters in the field where fumbling between optics costs you shots. The unit is sized for one hand operation and pockets easily in a jacket or chest rig. Covert Optics built the ThermX TRF for hunters who want thermal capability without committing to a clip on scope setup or a dedicated thermal rifle scope. It works equally well for property surveillance, predator calling at night, or search and rescue applications.
