CMMG Banshee MkGs 9mm 8" 33rd Coyote Tan Pistol

The Banshee is CMMG's large format 9mm pistol, built on an AR-15 style receiver set with an 8" barrel and a stabilizing brace in place of a stock. The MkGs designation marks the Glock magazine variants, and those use CMMG's radial delayed blowback bolt rather than the straight blowback action most 9mm AR pattern guns run. The system slows the bolt mechanically instead of leaning on a heavy carrier and a stiff spring, so felt recoil drops noticeably, the gun runs cleaner, and the carrier can be far lighter than a blowback carrier of the same caliber.

Controls are conventional AR-15 throughout, so the safety, magazine release and charging handle work exactly the way they do on every other rifle in the safe, and the grip and trigger accept standard AR parts. Feeding from Glock magazines means the pistol shares magazines with a carry gun, which is a real convenience at a match or a class, and the supplied magazine holds 33 rounds. This one wears Coyote Tan Cerakote and rides on CMMG's RipBrace with a six position extension. CMMG machines and finishes Banshee uppers and lowers in house, and the platform has a long list of factory options behind it. A compact 9mm host with an AR-15 parts ecosystem underneath it is a rare combination in a pistol caliber gun.
