Cimarron Arizona Ranger 45 Colt 5.5" 6rd Revolver

The Arizona Ranger is Cimarron's competition model in its line of peacemaker style revolvers, and this one is chambered in 45 Colt with a 5.5" barrel and a six round cylinder. What separates it from a standard single action is the sighting setup and the action work. A wide square notch rear and a wide constant width front blade give a fast, clear sight picture on timed stages. Cimarron's gunsmiths tune the action with their competition hammer and lighter, smoother trigger and bolt springs for a crisp trigger with no creep, and improved internal parts help it keep running through a long match day.

It is built on a Pre-War frame with a standard hammer. The frame is color case hardened steel, the barrel and cylinder are blued, and slim checkered walnut grips give a firmer hold than smooth stocks when your hands are sweaty. Arizona Ranger is engraved on the barrel. At about 40 oz it hangs steady for aimed fire and soaks up the recoil of full power 45 Colt loads. A natural pick for Cowboy Action and single action shooters who want a gun ready to compete out of the box.
