Christensen Arms Mesa FFT Buckmasters 7mm Backcountry 20" 4rd Rifle

The Buckmaster Limited Edition Mesa FFT is a Christensen Arms hunting rifle wearing Buckmasters colors. Flash Forged Technology is the story behind the stock: the FFT carbon fiber sporter shell cuts weight out of the rifle without giving up stiffness, and it is finished in the black and orange the Buckmaster edition is known for. The barrel is stainless steel in a #4 contour, free floating, hand lapped and match grade, and the muzzle is threaded so a brake or a suppressor goes on without a gunsmith.

Underneath, the action is spot bedded into the stock, the receiver is drilled and tapped for a rail, and the bolt handle is skeletonized to shave a little more weight off the reciprocating mass. A TriggerTech trigger handles the break. This one is chambered in 7mm Backcountry, one of the newest cartridges to reach the hunting market, and it feeds from a 4 round magazine behind a 20 inch barrel. That combination is aimed squarely at the hunter who carries a rifle further than he shoots it and still wants to run a can when the shot presents itself.
