Christensen Arms Evoke Mossy Oak 7mm Backcountry 20" 4rd FDE Rifle

The 20" version of the Evoke Mossy Oak in 7mm Backcountry is the one to take when the shots get long. Federal's cartridge runs at higher pressure than conventional centerfire rounds because of its alloy steel case, and the extra barrel length over the compact model turns more of that pressure into velocity for open country work on elk and mule deer. It still balances well enough to carry all day, which is the point of the whole Evoke line.

The barrel is stainless, button rifled, hand lapped and free floated, finished in flat dark earth Cerakote to match the receiver. Threads are 5/8-24 under a removable six port RFR brake. Christensen fits a TriggerTech trigger, drills and taps the receiver, and molds integrated Picatinny rail into the forend for a bipod. The stock is Mossy Oak Bottomland, which does its best work in hardwoods and river bottoms and does not look out of place anywhere else. Magazine capacity is 4rd. The sub-MOA guarantee holds across the Evoke line, and a heavy 7mm bullet is a lot of reach for a rifle this size and weight.
