Charter Arms Boomer 9mm 2" 5rd Revolver

The Boomer is Charter Arms' snub nose built for pocket and deep concealment carry, and this one is chambered in 9mm. The barrel is 2" and double ported along the top, venting gas upward to hold the muzzle down as the gun recoils. That matters on a revolver this light, where muzzle flip is what costs you time between shots rather than the recoil itself.

There are no sights in the conventional sense. The topstrap is trenched to give a sighting channel, and the hammer is fully shrouded inside the frame, so nothing on this gun can catch a pocket seam or a shirt hem on the way out. That makes it a point and shoot revolver at the distances a snub nose actually gets used, which is closer than most people admit. The frame is stainless steel wearing a black finish, the cylinder holds 5rd, and a compact rubber grip keeps the package small enough to vanish in a jacket pocket. Weight is 24 oz. It runs double action only, so every trigger pull cocks and drops the hammer with no thumb cocking and no single action stage to manage under pressure.
