Canik METE MC9 9mm 3.18" 12rd FDE Pistol

This is the FDE version of the Canik METE MC9, a micro compact 9mm that Canik worked on for three years before releasing. The flat dark earth finish is the obvious difference, and it gives the pistol a warmer look than the standard black version. Underneath it is the same pistol: a 3.18" barrel, a frame just 1.12" wide, and two magazines in the box, a flush 12rd and a 15rd that extends the grip for a full three finger hold.

Handling is what sets the MC9 apart from other guns this size. The trigger has short take up, a crisp break and a short reset, which turns a small pistol from something you tolerate at the range into something you actually practice with. The slide comes milled for a micro red dot and carries a white dot front sight, so an optic is a bolt on job rather than a trip to a machine shop. Striker fired operation keeps the trigger press identical shot to shot. Around 21 oz empty, it carries easily in an inside the waistband holster and still has enough mass to keep the muzzle from snapping under recoil.
