Browning X-Bolt Pro McMillan 6.8 Western 24" 3rd Rifle

The X-Bolt Pro McMillan pairs Browning's X-Bolt action with a McMillan Game Scout carbon fiber stock, chambered in 6.8 Western, a short action magnum built around long, heavy bullets for elk and long shots on deer. It has a 24" skip fluted sporter barrel, three round capacity, and a weight of about 6.2 lbs, light enough to haul up a ridge without giving up a steady hold once you get there.

Barrel and action wear Cerakote Carbon Gray Elite, and the stock carries Sonora Carbon Ambush camo. The threaded barrel comes with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and a thread protector. The three lever Feather Trigger is adjustable and breaks clean with no take up or creep. The barrel is free floated by bedding the front and rear of the action, and a recessed muzzle crown protects the rifling. A top tang safety works with a bolt unlock button so you can clear the chamber with the safety on. A Picatinny rail is in place for optics, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad keeps the brake equipped rifle comfortable from the bench or prone.
