Browning X-Bolt 2 Micro 6.8 Western 22" 3rd Rifle

Browning built the X-Bolt 2 Micro for shooters who need a shorter stock and a lighter rifle without dropping down to a toy. Chambered in 6.8 Western, it fires heavy for caliber bullets with a fast 1:7.5 twist, a combination aimed squarely at elk, mule deer and other big game at real distances. The 22 inch sporter contour barrel keeps the package handy and is free floated for consistent groups, with a non reflective matte blued finish on the barrel and receiver.

Fit is where the Micro earns its name. The Vari-Tech stock adjusts length of pull from 12-7/8 to 13-7/8 inches, the comb raises for scope alignment, and interchangeable grip modules with overmolded panels let you change the hand feel. At the muzzle, 5/8-24 suppressor ready threads carry a muzzle brake, and a thread protector comes in the box. The receiver has extra bolt guidance surface for smooth cycling, the DLX trigger adjusts down from its hunting weight setting, and the detachable rotary magazine holds 3 rounds. A 60 degree bolt lift clears big optics, the bolt unlock button pairs with the top tang safety, and X-Lock bases mount a scope with four screws each.
