Browning AB3 Pro Hunter Deluxe 308 Win 22" 5rd Maple Rifle

The 308 Win version of the Pro Hunter Deluxe is the short action of the group, and that shows up in how the rifle handles. A shorter bolt throw means less motion between shots, the receiver is a touch lighter, and the cartridge itself is cheap enough to practice with rather than saving for opening morning. Browning dressed this one the same as the rest of the Deluxe run: satin finish light maple, a dark maple cap on the forend, and checkering cut into the grip and forearm.

The 22" barrel is spiral fluted and matte blued, and the bolt body is fluted to match. A radial brake sits on the threaded muzzle, and on a 308 it takes the rifle down to something a shooter can run all afternoon without developing a flinch. The top tang safety is silent and falls under the thumb, the bolt lock override button lets you cycle a round out with the safety still engaged, and the hex bolt knob is oversized for cold fingers. Capacity is 5rd. An Inflex recoil pad caps the stock, and the steel receiver comes drilled and tapped for scope bases.
