Browning Citori White Lightning 28 GA 26" Shotgun

The Citori White Lightning is the classic Lightning field gun with one big change: the steel receiver carries a silver nitride finish instead of traditional bluing, set off with broad coverage engraving. In 28 gauge with 26 inch barrels it is a light, quick handling upland gun for quail, doves, woodcock and preserve pheasants, and at about 6 lbs 13 oz it is easy to carry all day. The chambers are 3 inch, a recent change for the Citori 28 gauge, so you can use the longer 28 gauge loads when birds get wild late in the season.

The Lightning stock has a rounded pistol grip and a matching forearm in Grade III/IV walnut with a gloss oil finish and cut checkering. The barrels are polished blued with a vent rib, ivory front bead and mid bead. Inside it is pure Citori: a full width tapered locking bolt, a hinge pin that spans the receiver, chrome plated chambers and automatic ejectors. The barrel selector lets you pick which barrel fires first on the gold plated single trigger. Three Standard Invector Midas choke tubes in Full, Modified and Improved Cylinder are included with a flat wrench. The 60/40 point of impact prints slightly high for rising birds.
