Breek Arms Sledgehammer AR-15 Ambidextrous Charging Handle

The Sledgehammer is Breek Arms' ambidextrous charging handle for mil spec AR-15 and M16 rifles. It goes in place of the thin handle most rifles come with, which is the part that bends, rattles, or tears a latch loose after enough hard use. Both latches are oversized and serrated, so a gloved hand gets a real grip from either side.

Charging handles take more abuse than people give them credit for. They get yanked hard, usually with the support hand while the firing hand stays on the grip, and they get used to clear malfunctions when something is already going wrong. This one also fights gas coming back at your face: a raised rear shelf blocks it at the opening, internal baffling slows what gets past, and ports and relief cuts send the rest somewhere other than your eyes.
