About the Angstadt Arms Vanquish 22
The Vanquish 22 replaces the barrel on a Ruger 10/22 Charger with a 12 inch integrally suppressed one. Ports bleed off enough gas to drop standard velocity 22 LR below the sound barrier, so bulk ammo goes quiet without paying for subsonic loads or stacking a can on the muzzle. Installation is a barrel swap onto the Charger, not a gunsmithing job.
There are no baffles in it, and that is the design argument. Nothing traps lead and carbon the way a baffle stack does, cleaning gets much simpler, and a baffle strike is not on the table. The barrel itself is a match grade precision ported Shaw barrel, so accuracy is not being traded away for quiet. Finish is black. For a Charger that mostly sees close range plinking and small game, this collapses two purchases into one piece of hardware.
