Angstadt Arms calls the Reticent 22 the lightest full size 22 LR can made, and at 2.5 oz it has a real case. The body is titanium, 3D printed rather than machined, five inches long and one inch in diameter. That is almost nothing hanging off the muzzle of a rimfire pistol or a bolt gun, and titanium shrugs off abuse far better than the weight would suggest.
Angstadt lists it at 113.4 dB on a bolt gun with standard ammunition, which puts it at the quiet end of the rimfire class without adding volume or length to get there. Mounting is 1/2-28 direct thread, the pattern on virtually every factory threaded rimfire barrel, and the finish is Armor Black Cerakote. Rated for 22 LR.
