This Gen 3 Auto-Gated White Phosphor Level 2 monocular delivers a clear, reliable image with a 1x baseline magnification (3x and 5x options) and a 26 mm F/1.2 lens, offering a generous 40-degree field of view and a focus range from 0.25 m to infinity, all housed in a compact, waterproof package weighing 0.32 kg. It features manual gain control, automatic brightness adjustment for real-time light adaptation, a built-in infrared illuminator, and an automatic bright light shut-off to protect the photocathode tube, ensuring consistent performance across temperatures from -51 C to +49 C. The units versatility is enhanced by weapon and head/helmet mounting capabilities, a simple ergonomic control layout, and an extensive accessory ecosystem, with battery life up to 50 hours on a single AA battery.
